Sara Margaret Beabout Clutter, 90, of Claysville, died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2008 following a brief illness.She was born July 25, 1918 near Nineveh, Pa, a daughter of Harry Franklin and Frances Marshall Beabout and attended theNineveh High School. Mrs. Clutter was a member and former Sunday school teacher at the Claysville United Methodist Church.She was an employee of the former W.T. Grant Co. in Washington for several years. Mrs. Clutter was a member of the Claysville Senior Citizens and prepared meals for Meals-On-Wheels as long as her health permitted.Mrs. Clutter had been a resident of the Claysville area since 1949. On March 10, 1936 she married Havel Clutter who died July 4, 2002.Surviving are a daughter Shirley, wife of Kenneth Plants of Claysville, two sons Stanley, husband of Maryann Clutter of Claysville and Earl, husband of Carolyn Clutter of Prosperity; 7 grandchildren Todd Plants, Rhonda, wife of Nick Fratto, Rodd Clutter, Chad, husband of Georgia Clutter, Gretchen Clutter, Crystal, wife of Steve Stepanovich, Carla, wife of Eric Dahlquist. 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; two sisters Thelma Lightner and Rheita, wife of Bo Danley both of Washington. Deceased are three brothers, Arthur, Ralph and Ray Beabout; one sister, sister Elsie Mae Ackley Phillips.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Claysville U.M. Church or the Claysville V.F.D.
