Rose Smith

Rose M. Smith, 65, of Waynesburg, Pa. died at 9:25 a.m., Sunday, August 13, 2006 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg after battling a cancer related illness since May.She was born September 21, 1940 in Lippencott, Greene County, Pa. a daughter of James Ewing Crayne and Marie Smith Crayne McMasters and had resided in Waynesburg and Greene County all of her life. Mrs. Smith enjoyed growing flowers. On April 20, 1958, she married Robert Smith who died on August 17, 2003.Surviving are two sons, Michael F. Smith of Waynesburg and Robert G. Smith of Carmichaels, Pa.; one step-son, Robert Wasalasky of Washington, Pa; three sisters, Martha Jean Richards of Blairsville, Pa., Mary, wife of Jack Lamb of Galion, Ohio, and Patty Neshta of Hicksville, NY.; one grandson, Josh Chapman, two granddaughters, Amy Louise Smith Campbell and Ashley Nicole Smith; one step grandson, Robert Wasalasky, Jr.; one great granddaughter, Kaylee Marie Campbell.Deceased in addition to her husband are two brothers, William and James E. Crayne, Sr..
