Richard Cleve Rose

Richard C. Rose, 62, of Center Twp., Greene County, Pa., formerly of Washington and McKeesport, Pa. died unexpectedly at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015, of natural causes, in his home.

He was born July 6, 1953 in McKeesport a son of the late Samuel Thomas and Daisy Irene Hutchison Rose, and had resided in Washington for approximately 14 years prior to moving to Center Twp. in 2005.

Mr. Rose was a 1971 graduate of McKeesport Senior High School.

He was employed in medical facilities administration for over 40 years, and was last employed as the Senior Facilities Director for Allegheny Health System at Canonsburg Hospital for 24 years prior to retiring in 2014.

Mr. Rose enjoyed following his daughter in girls softball, hunting, fishing, golf and watching college sports, and was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams.

On September 17, 1983 he married Cheryl Ann Otroba who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Lauren Rose, fianc of Darren Geller of Holbrook; a brother, Samuel, husband of Bonnie Rose of North Huntington; a sister, Patricia, wife of Butch Brenneman of Lancaster; his pet Golden Doodles, Bailey and Ziggy; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. with Pastor Scott Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Colorectal Cancer Research, c/o Allegheny General Hospital, 320 East North Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212
