Ralph L. Hobberchalk, age 82, of Prosperity, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Washington Hospital.
Born June 3, 1941, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Stephen and Sophie (Lenard) Hobberchalk.
Ralph became a Greene County resident in 1985. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1959. Ralph attended the Rolling Meadows Church of God in Waynesburg. He was employed as a truck driver for Tryon Trucking for 50 years until retiring in 2017. Ralph was a member of the American Truck Historical Society. He enjoyed antique truck collecting and traveling.
He is survived by five children, Susan (Ken) Karl, of Oakdale, Steven (Charlene Bedillion) Hobberchalk, of Washington, Scott (Debbie) Hobberchalk, of Cameron, NC, Sean (Brandy Nevel-Beatty) Hobberchalk, of Taylorstown, and Reba Hobberchalk, of Prosperity; five grandchildren, Katie Hobberchalk, Jessica Karl, Anthony Hobberchalk, Logan Hobberchalk, and Mack Loughman; two great grandchildren, Eli Huntington and Wesley Hughes; sister, Judy M. Williams, of Sycamore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother in infancy, John Hobberchalk.
