Patricia "Patty" Kay Wise Barnhart

Patricia (Patty) Kay Wise Barnhart, 85, of Washington, passed away peacefully in the home of her daughter on Sunday, January 26, 2025. 

She was born on March 24, 1939 in Waynesburg, Pa to the late John Wise and Addie King Wise.

Patty earned a living as a food preparer at the Holiday Inn, The Golden Lion, The Canonsburg Hospital and The Greenery Skilled Nursing Facility until her retirement. She had an abundance of friends and enjoyed going to bingo, time with family at reunions and spending her days off at yard sales. Her top priority, though, was being a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a Meme to everyone. 

Patty is survived by her brother, Layton Wise, of Washington; daughter, Deaneen “Deanie” (Mark) Patterson of Washington; four grandchildren, Brieanna (Mike) Gadani of Prosperity, Joshua and Jeramiah Roberts of Washington and Elyse (Brandon) Mangin of Avella; and nine great-grandchildren, Giovani, Dante and Emilia Gadani, Trevor, Tyler and Isabella Roberts, Shane Checca and Jacob and Gabriel Varney. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette “Sue” Dyson and grandson, Brandon Dyson.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 3-7pm at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy Rogersville, PA 15359, where a funeral service will be held directly after. The burial service will be private in Washington Cemetery.
