Norma Whitlatch

Norma Jean Whitlatch, 70, of Wind Ridge, Pa. died at 6:35 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 in her home after being in failing health for the past several years.She was born March 5, 1942 in Moatsville, W.Va. a daughter of the late Donald Woodruff and Maxine Mayle Mayle and had resided in Richhill Twp. all her married life.Mrs. Whitlatch was a member of the Bristoria Baptist Church.She enjoyed working the chores of the family farm, as long as her health permitted, flower gardening, listening to hymns and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates.On August 3, 1966 she married Henry Abner "Pee Wee" Whitlatch who died January 27, 2012.Surviving is her daughter, Grace Whitlatch, companion of Ed Amos, at home; two sons, Steven Whitlatch at home and Charles, "Huck", husband of Sherry Whitlatch of Wind Ridge; Josh, husband of Amanda Donley whom she and her late husband raised; four sisters, Olga Emerson of Lower Burrell, Pa., Donna, wife of Ray Mayhle, Cindy, wife of Bill Crayne and Janice, wife of Roger VanDruff, all of Waynesburg; two brothers, Gary Mayhle of Ohio and Woody Mayle of Washington; six grandchildren, Ryan, Sheena and Heather Whitlatch, Olivia, Conner and Hunter Donley; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a son, John Whitlatch and a sister, Carolyn Sue Shoemaker.
