Neil M. Watson

Neil M. Watson, age 73, of Wind Ridge, passed away, Friday, April 11, 2025, in his home with his family by his side.

Born December 11, 1951, in Waynesburg, son of the late John Weir and Ava (Phillips) Watson.

Neil had been a resident of Greene County his whole life. He graduated from West Greene High School in 1970. Neil married Cindy Gray on January 25, 1972, and they were happily married for 53 years. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Neil was employed as a Welder for Tulsa Pipeline Local 798 for 53 years until his retirement in 2014. He enjoyed working on cars, collecting and working on guitars and antiques, hunting and target shooting, and watching wildlife.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, two brothers, John “Lane” (Judy) Watson, of Cameron, WV and Gerald (Elaine) Watson, of Finleyville.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, his son, Robert Neil Watson.
