Naomi Pearl Beatty

Naomi Pearl Beatty, 85, of Warren, Ohio and formerly of Greene County, Pa. died unexpectedly at 1:05 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 in St. Josephs Hospital in Warren.

She was born in Waynesburg, Pa. a daughter of the late Ogle James and Bessie Pearl Rogers DeBolt and had resided in Warren since 1960.

Mrs. Beatty enjoyed gardening, word search puzzles, reading the Readers Digest and drama and horror books.

On October 29, 1962 she married Herman Beatty, Sr. who died June 27, 1996.

Surviving are two daughters, Ruby, wife of Melvin Parrish of Warren and Julie A. DeBolt of Waynesburg; two sons, Herman Beatty, Jr. of Niles, and Rex Beatty of Warren; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a daughter, Edna Sue Cole and a grandson, Jeremiah Cole who both died in 2008; a brother, James DeBolt.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Friends will be received from 12 noon until the time of funeral and committal services to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. with Rev. Bruce Judy officiating. Interment will be private in Centennial Cemetery.
