Mabel M. Rush, 86, of Waynesburg, Pa. died at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in the Ewing Manor Personal Care Assisted Living, Waynesburg, Pa. following a lengthy illness.She was born December 6, 1919 in Cumberland Twp., Greene County, Pa. a daughter of Earl and Estella Marshall Miller and had been a resident of the Waynesburg area since 1947.Mrs. Rush was an employee of the former Wilson Lunchroom in Waynesburg and was last employed as a cook by the Waynesburg Moose Lodge. She was an avid bingo player and a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 888 of Waynesburg and a former Senior Regent of the Carmichaels Moose.On December 19, 1936, she married Thomas Isaac Rush who died on December 5, 1978. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara, wife of James Ferencak of Bedford, Oh.; three sons, Kenneth M. Rush of Waynesburg, Gary L., husband of Louise Rush of Carmichaels and Larry L. Rush of Bedford, Oh.; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.Deceased in addition to her husband are a son, Thomas G. Rush, a grandson, Kenneth M. "Chick" Rush, Jr.; a great granddaughter, Vicki Kennedy; a brother, George Miller and a sister, Alma Cumberledge. She was the last of her immediate family.
