Lucille Bedilion, 88, of Waynesburg, Pa. and formerly of Nineveh, Pa. died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care in Washington Pa surrounded by her family.She was born April 6, 1924 in East Finley Township, Washington County, Pa, a daughter of the late Carl Hird and Alva "Irene" Sprowls Dorsey and had resided in Nineveh from 1944 until moving to Waynesburg in 1999.Mrs. Bedilion was affiliated with and was a former member of the choir at Fairmount United Methodist Church in East Finley Township.She was the former member and treasurer of the Fairmount Cemetery Board and a former member of the Morris Twp., (Greene County) Election Board.Mrs. Bedilion and her late husband co-owned and operated the Bedilion Store in Nineveh from 1969 to 1996.On March 21, 1942 she married Donald William Bedilion who died December 26, 2000.Surviving are five daughters, Pearl wife of George McKinley, Wilma M. wife of Roger Nelson, Patty I. wife of Jerry Johnston, Thelma J. wife of Dr. David Szarell, and Judy L. wife of Clark Moninger; two sons, Donald W. husband of Barb Bedilion, and Carl A. husband of Anne Bedilion; two sisters, Hazel L. Hillberry, and L. Maxine Reynolds; one brother, Blaine R. husband of Dolly Dorsey, and; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildrenDeceased in addition to her parents and husband are seven brothers, C. Gaylord, H. Leo, Ralph E, Floyd W., Earl Neal, Vance Lee, and Paul R. Dorsey; and one grandson, Donald Lester Bedilion.
