James G. Terrell, 54, of Wind Ridge, Pa. R.D. #1 died at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2004 in his home. His death was unexpected after being in failing health for the past two years. He was born June 3, 1950 in Washington, Pa. a son of the late Charles Elmer "Shorty" Terrell and the late Myrtle Mackey Terrell and had resided in West Finley (Burnsville) for most of his life prior to moving to Richhill Township in 1996. Mr. Terrell was a former member of Windy Gap Presbyterian Church in West Finley. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and time spent with his grandchildren. Mr. Terrell was a 1968 graduate of McGuffey High School. He was formerly an employee of Bailey Mine, and was last employed as a machinist for ten years by the former Wheeling Machine Products, Elm Grove, W.Va. On November 15,1974 he married Beverly Rose Yoders Terrell who survives.Surviving are two sons, Charles W. Terrell of Wheeling W. Va., and Daniel G. Terrell of Washington, Pa.; one daughter, Kimberly A. Messersmith of York, Pa.; one brother, Thomas D. Terrell of Washington, Pa.; two grandchildren, Lucas and Emily Terrell; seven step grandchildren, Amanda, Darryn, and Travis Messersmith, Robert Logan Groves, Samantha, Mark and Kerrigan Rothka; one niece, Nicole Yoders; one nephew, Gary Yoders.
