Jacob "Corky" E. Morris, Sr.

Jacob “Corky” E. Morris, Sr., age 77, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at Washington Hospital.

Born September 21, 1947, in Waynesburg, son of the late Rex and Mabel Marie (Kinny) Morris.

Jacob had been a Greene County resident his whole life. He married Doris Anderson on June 19, 1972, and they were happily married for 52 years. Jacob enjoyed puzzle books, cards, board games, watching The Price is Right and Westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Jacob is survived by three children, Candy Toland, of Waynesburg, Fred Morris, of Graysville, and Randy Lee Morris, of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Kevin Cunningham, Jr., Shelby Zimmerman, and Nathan Cunningham; one great grandchild, Kattaleia Laree Zimmerman; three siblings, Ronald Lee Morris, of Waynesburg, Sarah McClellan, of Graysville, and Ethel Mae Eddy, also of Graysville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jacob Morris, Jr. and three siblings, Albert Tedrow, Kermit Morris, and Paul Morris.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 11-1 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. PO Box 434 Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181, where a funeral service will be held directly after with Pastor Sam Crawford, officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Jackson Twp.
