Jack Lynn Shriver

Jack Lynn Shriver born October 16, 1942 in Waynesburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Sherwood Oaks Nursing Home in Fort Bragg, CA.

Jack is the son of the late Anna Elizabeth Shriver.

Jack loved living on the farm next to the Shriver Covered Bridge as a child and young man before moving to CA in the late 1970's.

He was a Housekeeper at high-end Bed & Breakfasts and private homes. He took great pride in his work as a Housekeeper. He spent the last five years of his working career as a Courtesy Clerk at Safeway in Fort Bragg, CA before retiring at age 65.

Jack is survived by one brother, Jerry Lee (Linda) Shriver, of Brunswick, OH;
one niece, Pam Whyte Hill, of Wind Ridge, PA; five nephews, Michael and Mark Shriver,and Larry, Terry and Randy Whyte of PA and his close friend, Jay Rosenquist, of Ft. Bragg, CA.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his half brother, Donald Eugene Whyte; two uncles Ephraim and Francis Shriver.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery, Center Twp. PA, with Pastor Adam Stokes, officiating.
