Isabelle V. Barnhart, 87, formerly of Graysville and Waynesburg, Pa. died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in the Washington County Health Center after being in failing health for the past two years. She was born November 30, 1920 in Graysville, Pa. a daughter of John Lindsay and Sallie Sallee Sprowls Barnhart and had resided in Graysville all her life until her health condition dictated her relocating to Waynesburg and Washington. Miss Barnhart was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church in Graysville, Pa. where she had served as the custodian for several years and was a member of the church auxiliary. She was also a member of the Graysville V.F.D. auxiliary and attended the West Greene Senior Citizens as long as her health permitted. Miss Barnhart enjoyed crocheting, quilting and reading. Surviving are a sister, Helen B. Morris and a brother, D. Lloyd Barnhart both of Washington, Pa.; two nieces, Phyllis, wife of John Kendrick II of Fairmont, W.Va., and Linda, wife of Joseph Larocka of Hickory, Pa.; one great nephew, John L. Kendrick III; two great great nieces.
