Howard “Buster” Dulaney, 86, of Springhill Twp., Greene County, Pa. went to be with his Lord, Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Mr. Dulaney was born June 30, 1932 in Hundred, W.VA. a son of the late Raymond Guy and Agnes Diane Stoneking Dulaney and had been a resident of Aleppo Twp. prior to moving to Springhill Twp. In 1990.
He attended the former Grandview United Methodist Church at Garrison.
Mr. Dulaney was an employee of the former Jessop Steel Corporation in Washington and was last employed for over 30 years as a truck driver and equipment operator at Levine Iron and Metal in Waynesburg prior to retiring in 1996.
He enjoyed farming for over 80 years, owned and showed his prize Belgian Draft Horses at numerous fairs most of his life, and truly loved doing wagon rides for local churches and school children and was the favorite to carry Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus in Christmas parades.

Also surviving are three children, Leslie “Butch” (Candy) Dulaney, Carl “Mart” Dulaney and Mary “Sis” (Gregg) Stash; three step-children, Marvin, Mark and Marcy Murin; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; five brothers, Melvin “Pig” Dulaney, Carl (Mitzy) Dulaney, Kenny Dulaney, ((Margaret) Dulaney and Leonard “Duck” (Patty) Dulaney; one sister, Opal (Fred) Fonner; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents are two children, Betty Ann Dulaney who died in 1972 and Stanley “Bub” Dulaney who died in 2005; five brothers, Raymond, Glenn, Ronald “Tubby”, James Dulaney and Fred Dulaney who died in infancy; four sisters, Elizabeth Prevost, Ellen “Peg” Plutt, Hazel Dulaney and Wilma Dulaney who died in infancy; his first wife, Mary Williams Dulaney who died in 2005.
At the request of the deceased his remains will be donated to science.
A public memorial service will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the New Freeport Volunteer Fire Department, 101 Main St. New Freeport, PA 15352, followed by a buffet luncheon.
Local arrangements are under the direction of the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., Rogersville, Pa.
