Helen Morris

Helen Morris, 94, of Rogersville, Pa. died unexpectedly at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 in the home of her daughter.She was born September 12, 1912 in Rogersville, Pa. a daughter of William Arthur and Elizabeth Hamilton Reese and had resided in the Holbrook area for over 40 years prior to moving to Rogersville in 1997.Mrs. Morris was a member of the Rogersville United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading.On July 10, 1930, she married Glenn Winfield Morris who died on January 4, 2001.Surviving are her daughter, Norma Lee Hunter of Rogersville with whom she made her home since 1997; three grandchildren, Vickie, wife of Arnold Wilson of Washington, Randy, husband of Gina Clark of Rogersville and David, husband of Linda Clark of Holbrook; seven great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.Deceased in addition to her husband are one son, Gary Lynn Morris who died in infancy and one sister, Lucille Lemley Bashioum. She was the last of her immediate family.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, Pa. 15370 or to the Rogersville United Methodist Church, P.O.
