Helen L. Rife

Helen L. Rife, age 82 of Freedom, PA passed away peacefully on April 11, 2021 in her home with her family by her side. She was born on February 13, 1939 in Holbrook, PA and was the daughter of the late Glen W. Tedrow and Mary E. (Tilton) Tedrow of Holbrook, PA.

Helen was a 1957 graduate of West Greene High School. She moved from Ambridge, PA to Freedom, PA in 2015. Helen loved to spend time with her family, enjoyed going to see plays at the theater, and taking bus trips to various places.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy D. (John) Kopas of Freedom, PA; sister, Patricia A. (Henry) White of Masontown, WV; sister-in-law, Dorothy Tedrow of Carmichaels, PA; two grandchildren, Joshua A. (Jennifer) Schlifer of South Amherst, OH, and Chelsea R. (Adam) McClure of Butler, PA; and two great grandchildren, Remington and Weston. She is preceded in death by her first husband, David G. White; her husband, David H. Rife; and her brother, Glenn F. Tedrow.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, April 15th from 11AM to 1PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Crawford, officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Park 1003 Jefferson Rd, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
