Gerald M. Parson

Gerald M. Parson, age 66, of Claysville, PA, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Premier Washington Health Center, Washington, PA.

Born October 22, 1952, he is the son of Charles Glenn, of Greene County, PA. and the late Mary June (Cole) Parson.

Gerald graduated from West Greene High School in 1971. He grew up in Greene County and moved to Washington County 46 years ago. Gerald was a member of the Nebo United Methodist Church, Greene County, PA. He was employed by V-Bat Plastics for 35 years until he retired in 1998. Gerald enjoyed the outdoors and fishing at Majorville Creek.

He is survived by two daughters, Amy and Amanda Parson, both of Claysville, PA.; two brothers, Charles Thomas Parson, of Greene County, PA. and Richard Parson, of Washington, PA.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife,Roberta Jeanne (Snyder) Parson, who passed away in 1994.

A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. at Kesterson- Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA. 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Phil Campbell, officiating. Burial to follow at West Finley Cemetery, West Finley, PA.
