Gary R. Bonar

Gary R. Bonar, age 74, of Uniontown, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, in his home with his family by his side.

Born September 25, 1949, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Paul Raymond Bonar and Beulah (Ross) Bonar, of Uniontown.

Gary had been a resident of Uniontown since 2013, after moving from Grantsville, MD. He graduated from North Union High School in 1967. Gary was employed with Spectra as a Corrosion Technician for 42 years until his retirement in 2012. He served in the United States Army until he was medically discharged. Gary enjoyed traveling, mowing his lawn, repairing and collecting grandfather clocks.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Bonar-Hill of Florida.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 11-1 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181, where a funeral service will be held directly after with Pastor Gary Crawford, officiating. Burial will follow at Centennial Cemetery, Aleppo, PA.
