Floyd Harvey Ealy, Sr.

Floyd Harvey Ealy, Sr., age 68, of Graysville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Born June 17, 1956, in Washington, son of the late Floyd Franklin and Ruth (Anderson) Ealy.

Floyd had been a Greene County resident most of his life. He married Peggy Sue Barton on July 18, 1975, and they were happily married for 49 years. Floyd was self-employed as a Carpenter for 10 years until he retired in 1979. He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars. Floyd had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He was well loved by all that knew him and was said to have a contagious laugh.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Judy (Chad) Gray, of Rogersville and Floyd (Jessica) Ealy, Jr., of Perryopolis; three grandchildren, Gage and Colby Gray and Kaydence Ealy; two brothers, Daniel Ealy, Sr., of Washington, and Bruce Ealy, of Pittsburgh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Ealy, Sr. and Dale Ealy, Sr.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. PO Box 434 Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Richhill Twp.
