Flora "Sally" L. Hice

Flora “Sally” L. Hice, age 69, of New Freeport, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 while under the care of Waynesburg Health and Rehabilitation.

Born December 28, 1946 in Prosperity, PA. she is the daughter of the late Blair and Margaret Ruth (Eckles) Pettit.

Sally was baptized at the Bristoria Independence Baptist Church and attended when able. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and putting together jigsaw puzzles. When Sally wasn’t cleaning her house she was in the kitchen baking. She loved to spend time with her family especially during the holidays.

She is survived by her husband; David Hice, of New Freeport, PA; her three children; Andrea (Joe) Vojacek, of Somerset, PA, Robert (Stephanie) Hice, of Wind Ridge, PA and Carol (Terry) Gary, of New Freeport, PA; a half-sister; Betty Frye of Washington, PA; seven grandchildren; Damien Vojacek, Tiffany Hice, Terri Hice, Taylor Hice, Anthony Gary, Ashley Gary and Kaitlyn Gary and five great grandchildren.
