Elizabeth (Lizzie) King Parrick, 76, of Comanche, Oklahoma and formerly of Wayne Township (Kuhntown), Greene County, Pa. died at 5:15 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 in the Jefferson County Hospital, Waurika, Oklahoma after being in failing health since October.She was born October 1, 1927 in Wayne Township, Greene County, Pa. a daughter of Alvie Ray and Mary Moore King.Mrs. Parrick was Protestant.She attended schools in Pine Bank, Brave and Kuhntown prior to moving to California in the late 1940's.Mrs. Parrick enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, visiting the Meadows Race Track in Washington, fishing and cooking and returned to Greene County each year for the past 25 years to attend the Greene County Fair.She was employed as a waitress most of her working life and she and her husband were co-owners of the Buckaroo Bar and Restaurant in Lotten, Oklahoma for approximately 20 years prior to retiring.On July 19, 1957 she married Travis Parrick who survives.Also surviving are one stepson, Larry Parrick of Rockport, Texas; one stepdaughter, June Parrick of Medro, CA.; five step grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Louise Finch of Waynesburg and Ruth Bungard of Aleppo; two brothers, Charles (Jack) King and Ray A. King both of Waynesburg; several nieces and nephews.Deceased are two brothers, Thomas and Harry King; one sister, Martha (Peg) McKahan.
