Elizabeth Dianne Areford

Elizabeth Dianne (Brady) Areford, age 73, of Waynesburg, PA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2016.

Born August 6, 1943 in New Geneva, PA, she is the daughter of the late Elzie Warren and Mary Marie (Harris) Brady.

Elizabeth graduated in 1965 from the Albert Gallatin High School. She has resided in Waynesburg since 1979. Elizabeth was a member of the New Geneva Baptist Church. She always enjoyed gossiping. Above all, she loved being a Mother and Grandmother and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children, Peggy Sue Areford, of Waynesburg, PA, William Warren Areford, of Waynesburg, PA, and David D. Areford, of Waynesburg, PA; her grandchildren, Austin Areford, Allysa Areford, Nathan Patterson, Justin Whiskey, Conner Ruse, Stephanie Allen, Mandy Rison, John “Bud” Shultz, Christian Staggers, Joey and Brooke Lilley, and Kyle Gray; great-grandchildren, Zach, Zander, and Silas Rison, Andrew Thorne and Kaleb Gray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband William L. Areford; daughter, Louri Ann Marie Areford, son, Daniel Paul Areford, in infancy, and brother, Gary Lou Brady.

Friends will be received Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA 15359. (724) 499-5181 A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Blair, officiating. Burial will follow at Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg, PA.
