Donna Lorraine Brown

Donna Lorraine Brown, age 68, of Waynesburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 while under the care of the Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing, Canonsburg, PA.

Born on February 17, 1948, in Waynesburg, PA, she is the daughter of the late Allen Ralph and Faye Melbajean (Lohr) Hill.

Donna attended West Greene High School. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Waynesburg Moose Lodge for over 15 years. Donna drove school bus for ten years for West Greene School District. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Donna was known for her lively spirit and great sense of humor. She loved decorating at home for holidays and every season. Donna never met a stranger. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was her greatest love and joy in life.

She is survived by her children, Donna Lorraine (Virgil) Brown-McCumbers, of Waynesburg, Charles F. (Karen) Brown, Jr., of Meyersdale, PA, and Karen Sue Pettit, of Waynesburg, PA; her grandchildren, Joshua, Kayla and Jennifer Brown, Larry and Shawna Pettit; great-grandchildren, Noah, Neil, Avery and Casey Pettit; one sister, Janet (Louis) Hunyady, of Brownsville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her sister Debbie Hill and brothers Allen and Michael Hill.

Friends will be received Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2-5 P.M. at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy. Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA. 15359. (724) 499-5181. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, November 27, 2016 with Rev. Cynthia Deter, officiating.
