Donald "Donnie" Lee Rohm

Donald “Donnie” Lee Rohm, age 52, of Holbrook, PA, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at The Donnell House, in Washington, PA.

Born on March 22, 1965 in Waynesburg, PA, he is the son of the late Rex Eugene Rohm and Dixie Catherine (Smalley) Rohm, who survives.

Donnie was a 1985 graduate of West Greene High School. He was employed by Eaton Heinz Corporation as a laborer for the last 11 years.

Donnie loved playing video games in his free time. His favorite video game was Pac-Man. He enjoyed traditional board games and collected older versions of them. He also spent time with his friends, Darlene, Ron Lohr and Bill Black and had a special bond with his niece, Tara McCracken. Once Donnie was photographed and featured in a story by the Observer-Reporter as the first purchaser of the movie “Titanic” upon its initial release.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three brothers; Rick Rohm, of Wind Ridge, PA., Richard (Kathy) Rohm, of Dallas, WV., and Greg Rohm, of Cameron, WV.; a sister, Kimberly Rohm, of Wind Ridge, PA.; one aunt, Becky Hixenbaugh, of Dover, OH.; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; an uncle, Bill Rohm; and a sister-in-law, Carol Rohm.

Friends will be received on Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 4 – 8 P.M. at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy, Rogersville, PA., 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Debra Dague officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery, Wind Ridge, PA.
