Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Smith

Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Smith, 62, of Carmichaels, passed away the morning of July 19, 2022 in Washington Hospital having been in declining health for a while.

Cindy was born April 11, 1960 in Weirton, WV to the late Jack Herbert and Alice Marie (Hawkins) Smith.

Cindy was a 1976 graduate of Brooke High School of Wellsburg, WV. She was a former active member of the West Street Church of God in Weirton, WV. Cindy moved to Greene County six years ago. She enjoyed crafts such as crocheting, sewing, embroidering, and watching movies.

Cindy is survived by her sisters Alice Cox, of Carmichaels and Anita (Perry) Orr, of Weirton, WV; nieces Gracie Orr, whom she was closest to, Kerri Cotton, Cherish Lemmert; nephew Ryan Orr; and many great grand-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by her husband John Weatherhead.
