Cheryll L. Post

Cheryll L. Post, age 70, of Avella, passed away, Monday, June 4, 2024, at Washington Hospital.

Born September 17, 1953, in Washington, daughter of the late William Albert and Betty Virginia (Renner) McCullough.

Cheryll was a Washington County resident her whole life.  She graduated from McGuffey High School in 1971. Cheryll was a member of Newbridge Church, A Vineyard Church in Wheeling, WV. She married Francis “Frank” L. Post on August 27, 1983 and they were happily married for 30 years until his passing on February 2, 2014. Cheryll was a secretary for Green Valley Packing for six years until her retirement in 2013. She enjoyed her farm and loved cooking.

She is survived by three children, Frank (Kaylea) Post, Jr. and Tega (Cody) Rossi, both of Avella, and Tammi (Darrin) Iams, of West Alexander; seven grandchildren, Kagin (Jillian Blackburn) and Lexin Iams, Cason George, Gage Rossi, Josie Rossi, Dane Post, and Boyd Post; one sister-in-law, Barbara McCullough, of Washington.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, William McCullough.
