Charles Tedrow

Charles (Charlie) Tedrow, 49, of Cameron, W.Va. died at 8:19 a.m. Sunday, January 11, 2009 in the WVU Hospitals, Inc. (Ruby Memorial), Morgantown, W.Va. after battling a cancer related illness for the past 12 months.He was born May 9, 1959 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of the late Robert Kenneth and Betty Jane Riggle Tedrow and has been a resident of the Cameron area since 1984.Mr. Tedrow was 1979 graduate of West Greene High School.He has been employed as a well technician by Springhill Well Services for the past several years.Mr. Tedrow was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, mowing his yard and gardening.He was a member and past commander of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 18 in Cameron, W.Va.Mr. Tedrow was married to Cathy Neely who died in April 2004.Surviving are his companion of the past three years, Marcia Thompson; three children, Jerry and Johnny Tedrow and Crystal Langmyer; 8 brothers, Robert D. and William D. Tedrow, Mark K., husband of Jonnie Lynn Tedrow, Patrick A. Tedrow, companion of Patty Statler, Gary E. and Randal L. Tedrow, Jerry L. Tedrow, companion of Kelly Hoge, Kevin F., husband of Lara Tedrow; 6 sisters, Connie J., wife of Russell Schoeller, Marjeane Tedrow, Vickie, wife of Gary Kakyo, Joyce A. Tedrow, Judy Frye and Debra Tedrow; four grandchildren, Patience, Shenoah, Harley and Sarah; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his wife, parents and grandparents is a brother, Douglas J. Tedrow.
