Carol Jean Stockdale

Carol Jean Stockdale was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She passed away at home on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 72.

Born April 30, 1952, to Walter E. and Gladys Irene (Johnson) Browning. She was one of ten children.

Carol is survived by her husband, Gary Stockdale; two grandchildren Samiar and Tyler; her sisters Helen R. Browning (Cupp) and Delphia Browning (Maynard); her brothers, Walter (Chieko) and Gregory (Brigitte).

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by two children, Jamie and Angie; sisters, Gladys Sharlene Browning, Joann Browning (Adkins), Frances L. Browning (Perry); and Brothers, John C. and Alvin D. Browning.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 12-1 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. PO Box 434 Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone:724-499-5181, where a funeral service will be held directly after with Pastor Gary Crawford, officiating. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
