Betty J. Ealy

Betty J. Ealy, age 71, of Waynesburg, PA, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017.

Born November 18, 1945, in Waynesburg, PA. she is the daughter of the late William L. and Mary M. (Pierson) Crawford.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Greene County. She was a member of the Bristoria Bible Church. Betty loved shopping on the Q.V.C. network. Betty enjoyed sewing and coloring in her spare time. Betty always looked forward to Christmas where she could spend time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her companion of 17 years, Kenneth Cox; her six children, Samuel G. (Virginia) Leek of Graysville, PA, William E. (Cindy Pettit) Leek of Jefferson, PA, Peggy L. Pettit of Graysville, PA, Brenda S. (Lee) Pettit of Waynesburg, PA, Harold J. ( Dora) Leek Ealy of Claysville, PA, and Samantha H. Ealy of Waynesburg, PA; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Leonard) Brown of Holbrook, PA and Barbara Crawford of Holbrook, PA; one brother, Clarence “Pete” Crawford; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two late husbands, Dale Eugene Leek (1966) and Harold Zane Ealy (2000); an infant son; sister, Marjory Crawford Dunn.
