Betty Cunningham

Betty Lee Cunningham, 65, of Gilmore Twp., Greene Co., Pa. died 7:15 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007 in her home after suffering a cancer related illness.She was born October 15, 1941 in Jackson Twp., Greene Co., Pa. a daughter of the late Ray "Buss" and Anna Katherine Utt Weaver and had resided in Jackson, Center and Gilmore Twps. all of her life.Mrs. Cunningham was a 1961 graduate of West Greene High School. She was a member of the New Freeport V.F.D. Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, baking and making candy.On April 13, 1963, she married Garel Ralph "P.I." Cunningham who survives.Also surviving are three daughters, Nancy, wife of Mark Gump of Holbrook, Bonnie Cunningham, wife of Junior Gaines, and Barbara Cunningham, both of New Freeport; four brothers, Ralph, husband of Betty Morris Weaver, John A. and Charles "Bub" Weaver, all of New Freeport, and Donley, husband of Fern Cunningham Weaver of Holbrook; five grandchildren, Josh Chapman, Lacie and Casey Gaines, Travis Gump and Ashley Smith; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents are one grandson, Calvin Allen Gump and one sister, Edna Mae Main.
