Bert "Skip" Anderson

Bert “Skip” Anderson, age 71, of Littleton, WV., passed away, Saturday, June 10, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Born March 24, 1952, in Wetzel County.

Skip was a Wetzel County resident his whole life. He was employed as a Laborer for Wheeling Local Laborers Union #1149 for 53 years until his retirement in 2007. Skip was an avid outdoorsman, which included hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching college football, NFL football, and wrestling.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Anderson; two grandchildren, Daylon and Brandon; one brother, William Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Bert T. Anderson and brother Jerry Anderson.

Friends will be received on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 11-1 PM at the Hundred Volunteer Fire Department, 118 Pennsylvania Ave. Hundred, WV 26575., where the funeral service will be held directly after at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Anderson Bethel Cemetery.
