Anna Delores "Danny" Main Snell, 82, of Holbrook, Pa. was called home to be with the Lord at 1:55 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg after being in failing health for the past two years.She was born in Springhill Twp., Greene Co. Pa. a daughter of the late Fletcher and Ada Mae Earnest Mackey and resided in Gilmore Twp. (Pine Bank) for 54 years and Rogersville for 4 years prior to moving back to the Pine Bank area in mid 1990's.Mrs. Snell was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Eastview.She enjoyed reading and gardening.On May 18, 1946 she married Harry Everette Main who died November 11, 1986 and on October 29, 1988 she married Glenn H. "Chip" Snell who died June 18, 1994.Surviving are three daughters, Vicki, wife of Jerry Sampson of Cameron, W.Va., Bonnie, wife of Brown Shaffer, Jr. of Washington and Carla, wife of Chuck Zimmerman of Summerfield, Fla.; two sons, Garry, husband of Debra Main and Randy, husband of Robin Main both of Holbrook two sisters, Elizabeth Strho of Avella and June Tricker of Cary, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Jeremy and Craig Main, Ashlee and Jennifer Shaffer, Brooke Zimmerman, Rachael and Benjamin Shaffer, and Michael Stevens; step-children, Sandy, wife of Larry Cole and Gary, husband of Sherry Cumberledge both of Brave, Trina, wife of George Watson of Center Twp., Patricia, wife of Scott Ealy of Mississippi, Elaine, wife of Tim Williamson and Anita, wife of Robbie Barklay both of Waynesburg; several step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her husbands and parents are five sisters, Wilma Fink, Beatrice Mackey, Mary Leigh, Betty Wilson and Jean Rine; four brothers; Leo, Scott and John Mackey and a brother who died in infancy; step-children, Janet Cross and Jim Cumberledge.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
