Albert James Orndoff

Albert James Orndoff, age 59, formerly of Waynesburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Geisenger Shamokin Area Community Hospital in Coal Township, PA.

Born on January 19, 1957, in Aliquippa, PA, he is the son of George C. Orndoff, of Waynesburg, PA, and the late Margaret E. “Peg” (Allhouse) Orndoff.

Albert attended Waynesburg High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, country music and playing guitar. He was ornery and enjoyed picking on friends and family.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his siblings, Herman S. (Velma) Orndoff, Rose Marie Durbin and Karl P. (Brenda Lea) Orndoff, all of Waynesburg, PA; several nieces, nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and a brother, Robert Lee Orndoff.

Friends will be received on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 10:00 A.M-12:00 P.M. at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA, 15359. (724) 499-5181. A Committal Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Greene County Memorial Park, 1003 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370 with Mike Brown, officiating.
